This Privacy Policy describes how Stonk Daily LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with the Stonk Daily mobile application and the website at stonkdaily.ai (together, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Identifiers: an account identifier issued by Apple at sign-in, an email address provided by Apple (which may be a relay address), and a device push notification token if you enable notifications.
  • User content: stock ticker symbols you add to your watchlist and a time zone preference.
  • Commercial information: subscription status, transaction identifiers, and renewal information received from Apple when you subscribe.
  • Internet activity: IP address and basic request metadata logged by our servers.

We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, financial account information, browsing history outside the Service, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising in the application.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service, authenticate your account, generate and deliver your daily briefing, send push notifications, process and verify subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI-Generated Content

Briefings are generated using a third-party large language model service. To generate briefings, we send ticker symbols, public market data, and public news content to the model service. We do not send your account identifier, email address, or other identifying information.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Apple, for authentication, push notification delivery, and subscription processing
  • A large language model service provider, for briefing generation
  • Cloud hosting and database service providers
  • Market data and news content providers (ticker symbols only)

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not share your information with advertisers.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the rights of others.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information, watchlist data, and subscription records for as long as your account is active.

When you delete your account, we delete your watchlist immediately and retain a minimal account record for up to 30 days to preserve subscription entitlement if you re-authenticate. After 30 days, the account record is permanently deleted. Server logs are retained according to our service providers' standard retention periods.

6. Your Rights

You may view your account information and watchlist within the application, delete your account through the application's settings, disable push notifications through your device settings, and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@stonkdaily.ai.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. To report a suspected violation, contact us at hello@stonkdaily.ai.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

The Service is hosted in the United States. By using the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
